About the Migration & Development Journal

Migration & Development is an open-access, bi-annual research journal.

The Migration & Development Journal was created in 2003, as an initiative of the International Network on Migration and Development (INMD), based at the Autonomous University of Zacatecas. Its purpose is to serve as a tool for communicating the activities, studies, progress, expert opinions, the feelings of the participants and other relevant aspects, views and concepts surrounding International Migration and Development. All of the articles included in this journal address topics of vital importance for the study of and decision-making surrounding migration and development; are subject to rigorous peer review; are authored by experts on each topic; and are selected by the panel of specialists that INMD has been assembling since its creation. As this is a collective effort, all of the network’s members are employed in serving as adjudicators, co-authors, as well as promoters of the publication which has led this journal to world-wide renown.

The journal is published in print and online. Print ISSN: 1870-7599. Electronic ISSN: (pending)
